ICANN is the global multistakeholder organization which coordinates the Internet’s system of unique identifiers — IP addresses and domain names — and develops policy related to these functions. This policy is developed through a unique multistakeholder model which is designed to provide consensus based decision making through a universal, inclusive and transparent system in which no one group can dominate the process.

Although few Internet end users are aware of its existence, ICANN manages the most fundamental building blocks of the Internet and sees to it that the system remains safe, secure and stable.

ICANN holds three public meetings per year in various regions around the world. These meetings are free for participants and can be attended remotely from anywhere in the world.

The next two meetings are:

Marrakesh,  June 24-27, 2019,  https://meetings.icann.org/en/marrakech65

Montreal, November. 2-7. 2019  remote participation details TBA
