Home computers are going to be big in the 1980s, and they’ll become interconnected with cable TV and telephones. Electronic mail, electronic newspapers and electronic banking are not far off, and neither is shopping at home. But with this information explosion there is also the risk of invasion into Canadians’ privacy.
